Stuart, what an encouraging story! That anybody can reach out in the love of Jesus to people they know, just reminds us that’s the first step. Thanks for reconnecting with your “friends of 23 years” and reminding me of some of the people I need to re-connect with.

Stuart, your story rings so true—and so natural. I suppose the gospel would be spread more widely and with less stress if we all just shared the good news with our friends through relationship. From my pastoring days in Waco, TX, I know your mom and dad were always very proud of you—whether as a bricklayer or pastor. After all, there’s ministry to be done wherever we find ourselves.
