Death of Serge Volpe’s mother

We were saddened to learn of the recent death of Serge Volpe’s mother Anne. Serge serves as facilitator of a GCI fellowship group that meets in White Plains, New York.

Serge and Lynne Volpe

Anne went through a long period of decline, especially during the last three years, leading a few months ago to hospice care. Serge and his wife Lynne experienced multiple crises caring for Anne during those years while she battled COPD, cardiac problems, and moderate Alzheimer’s disease.

We pray for and extend condolences to Serge and Lynne, and to the whole Volpe family. Cards may be sent to:

  2. Dear Serge and Lynne,

In caring for those whom we love in particularly difficult times of crisis we are given the opportunity and privilege to allow the light and love of Jesus to shine through us as we wrestle with gut wrenching challenges and pain. Thank you for your labor of love.

Be comforted in the assurance that Anne is now resting awaiting a glorious resurrection.

The Lord keep you and give you peace.

  3. Brother Serge,

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother! Our sincere condolences to you and Lynne and family. Praying for her, and along with you, over the past couple of years as she has struggled health-wise, makes me feel all the more involved in your experience.

Praying for your special encouragement and living in the hope of Christ and his return in glory, meaning the resurrection and glorious transformation of these bodies in Him!

    Much Love!
