New GCI Vice President

We are pleased to announce that Heber Ticas was commissioned as Vice President of Grace Communion International in June 2025. The commissioning ceremony took place at the Home Office, surrounded by U.S. pastors who joined in prayer and celebration. Heber brings with him decades of pastoral experience, having faithfully served GCI since April 2003. Known for his missional mindset, ability to develop leaders, and gift for team building, Heber has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the church’s vision and its people. These strengths will now be more fully utilized in his expanded leadership role.

President Greg Williams shared, “Heber’s stellar work with leading and organizing the Latin American region has stood out and influenced me in making the decision to promote him to serve alongside me as Vice President of GCI. Heber has pastored well and will bring a pastor’s heart and experience to the role. I am honored to work more directly with Heber, and he will hand off some of the roles he’s been serving in to take on a more concentrated focus — helping to shoulder some of the many responsibilities I carry.”

We invite you to watch the video of Heber’s commissioning and join us in praying for him as he steps into this new season of service.
