Shoe box outreach

New Life Fellowship, GCI’s congregation in Baltimore, Maryland, gathered recently to proclaim the gospel with their hands—packing gifts in shoe-box size containers for 100 orphaned, abandoned and disabled children living in Cameroon, Africa. According to senior pastor Timothy Brassell, “The love of the Triune God was flowing!” Here are some pictures:

  1. Our church has participated in Operation Christmas Child for the last 10 years. It is a great church project, as is obvious above. We have received a few heart-warming letters from recipients expressing their joy in receiving these gifts of God’s love.

  2. Way to go! We wonder if that is Operation Christmas Child with Franklin Graham. Our church does that one every year.

  3. Christian Fellowship Church Chicago North and Kenosha have served children around the world through Operation christmas Child for the last 10 years. We think of Chrit’s words “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of heaven.”
