  1. Congratulations my friend on reaching 90 years. Thank you for being a wonderful example over the decades! And greeting from a mutual friend, William (Bill Hicks). Formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, now a Tar Hill in North Carolina, he celebrated his 94th in November. Keep it up, you will get there!

  2. Please, do accept our warmest congratulations. As a young Ambassador College student in the 1980’s the name “Abner Washington” was already well known. My highest admiration goes to the men and women who have so faithfully and courageously served Christ and His church throughout the decades.

    Blessings,
    Santiago and Elke

  3. Greetings Mr. Washington,
Some things do get better with age. Brenda and I have always felt special while in your presence. You have that knack; never loose your friendly qualities. They are rare in an increasingly self-seeking society. We love you and wish you all the best.

  4. Dear Friend Abner, I knew when you moved in across the street in Pasadena in the ’80s that there was something special and enduring about you. When transferred to Ohio we had you at our home in 1995 in Dayton. We were reminded of your example of quality in a servant of Jesus at a rocky time. Seeing you at Orlando in 2013 again reaffirmed what an outstanding human being we had known. Keep the light burning and hope to see you again before long. Love, Hazel & JR

truly been Salt and light to all of us.Looking forward

you and your Family…which is us!!

  6. Dear Mr. Washington,

Your humble service, your fun personality and your warm smile are known by many! When I was at Ambassador College, I saw it there. After marrying Ken Ehlen, son of Bob and Jan Ehlen, I found out how much they and all of the St. Louis, MO congregation admired you too. I’m sure many more people all over the U.S.A. join us in congratulating you on your 90th birthday. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of many throughout the years. You are a blessing to us!

    Susie Ehlen and family
