With a heavy heart, we must announce the death of John Biswas. He was an elder and the National Director for Bangladesh, and long-time friend in ministry to many in our church. He will be missed.

He will be missed. I enjoyed meeting both him and his wife at the various conferences over many years and supporting his ministry.
The name of John Biswas will forever be synonymous with the Bengali Evangelical Association and the great love John had for his own people and the poorest of the poor. His deep desire was to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to the destitute. Sympathy to Naomi and the family.
It with sadness that we receive these news. John was surely a man “on fire” who was zealous to preach the gospel to his nation leaving no stones unturned. A true evangelist! Our thoughts and prayers are with Naomi, the family, and the many who were blessed by John’s labor of love in the Lord.
I was blessed to have met John on two occasions in the GCI conferences in USA. I will cherish memories of many things we shared together as we compared ministry opportunities/challenges in Bangladesh and in Kenya. My sincere condolences to Naomi, his immediate family and the church in Bangladesh that he served and loved with his whole heart.. Rest in peace brother.
My condolences toBiswas family. May our loving Father comfort you during this difficult time
Jonnie and I truly loved getting to know and spend time with John and Naomi. His evangelistic ministry to his country was wonderful. I’ll always remember, on several occasions, when seeing John at conferences, he would say “David, one day we will get you to come with us on mission to Bangladesh.” Unfortunately that didn’t happen. Love and prayers to dear Naomi and family. RIP John
If you have heard the story of John’s calling you will easily believe his love and dedication to God and to the people of Bangladesh. I made the trip with him twice and saw his love for his people. He will be missed by the many villages that he served over so many years. But of course, mostly by Naomi and the boys.

So very sorry to hear of John’s death. He so loved the people of Bangladesh and gave his life to share the good news of Jesus. His ministry touched the lives of so many – both spiritually and physically. Our prayers are for Naomi and his family.
