South African church

As is the case in other parts of the world, our churches in South Africa are facing difficult financial circumstances due to the global recession. Tim Maguire, the national ministry leader, along with the members of the South African church board, request your prayers for wisdom and guidance as they decide how to wisely steward the funds God has given them to best participate in his mission in their part of the world.

  1. Tim, et al,
    My prayers are with you.
Yes this global recession is affecting many.

  2. Hi Tim,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you also at this difficult time. Unemployment and inflation is on the increase almost everywhere it seems, and wages, in many cases, are being frozen. The RPI in the UK is 5.6% up at present which is bad enough, but not as bad as some areas. May God bless you all, and give hope and comfort to all who are adversely affected by the recession.

  3. Greetings TIm and your faithful people.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Several folk from southern Africa have made their home here in Perth among whom are George & Popppy Efthyvoulos and Marj Yorke.Your recent presentaton on Mozambique was so appreciated by the members here and what you are doing is appreciated and in our prayers. Our prayers continue for not just your work but for the resources needed to do it. Blessings Mohan
