  1. Very sad news. To this day I still quote jokes and stories he told in sermons decades ago. He was a friend to very many and will be missed, but we can look forward to seeing him again one day.

  4. Joyce and I have the fondest memories of Bob and Shelby when they pastored in Pa…we were pastoring in the adjoining pastorate in New Jersey at the time. Our prayers go out to Scott and Stuart.

  5. So sorry to hear this about Bob. Our families spent a lot of time together back in the 1980’s when he served in the Brooklyn-Queens Church. He and Shelby were a lot of fun to be around. This comes on the heels of being told of the death of Les Schmedes last night 4/20/2013. Les served as pastor of the Brooklyn-Queens Church 1974-1981. We had many late-night discussions. Pray for Darlene and her children. Both These men will be sorely missed.
