The history of bivocational ministry

Like the apostle Paul, who supported himself financially in a tent-making business, most of GCI’s pastors serve bivocationally, meaning they are not employed by the church. We are grateful to these men and women who offer their pastoral ministry services as volunteers. In doing so, they stand in a long line of bivocational ministers, as noted in the article at https://www.efcatoday.org/story/church-history-bivo.
