Perc Burrows

Perc and Shirley BurrowsPrayer is requested for GCI-Canada elder Perc Burrows. Perc is suffering with various health problems. He sleeps a lot, suffers shortness of breath and walking is a problem due to lack of balance. He and his wife Shirley are looking at obtaining a walker to help improve Perc’s mobility.

Perc and Shirley (pictured at right) have served faithfully in the Toronto, Canada, churches for many, many years, and are widely known in our fellowship. Your prayers for Perc and Shirley at this time would be greatly appreciated.

  1. The Lord is with you. Rest in Him and be encouraged by His love. Thank you for the many years in His service.

    Every blessing,
    Santiago and Elke

  2. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Wishing you all the best. With much love.

  3. Perc and Shirley–Susan and I think of the experiences we had in Toronto quite often. You are certainly in our prayers and thoughts. I often reflect on how odd it is that 339 Horsham Avenue is no longer the buzzing center of a busy church operation and that the mighty xerox machine is finally stilled. 400,000 copies served if I remember! All the best, Neil and Susan.

  4. Members of the Toronto churches know how much the Burrows invested in their lives. And I am no exception. Mr. Burrows performed the wedding ceremony for my late wife, Carole, and me on December 31, 1981. Two years later when our first daughter, Tanya, was born prematurely in Ottawa Shirley accompanied me to Ottawa and back on the same day to bring mother and daughter home. Then Shirley took Carole into their home for several days until she able to return our home. That is just a small part of their legacy of service. Our prayers are with the two of you. Keith & Barbara.

  5. The sabbatical of 1977 to 1978 seems so far away now and, of course, it is and we have all come so far along since that time. A time when God has been with us all the way and will continue to be with us and particularly both of you at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with the as I ask God to help, strengthen, heal and encourage you at this time–knowing he will. Love and prayers. David.

  6. Hi Mr. and Mrs. Burrows, just a short hello since Wally and I last saw you, late December, early January? We’re hoping for a big improvement in Mr. B’s health, so that you can come up to Bobcaygeon for a visit again. Blessings, Wally and Monica
