As Weekly Update readers know, it was determined that John has multiple cancerous tumors in his body. He recently underwent chemotherapy to combat the cancer, but his doctors have determined that there is no more they can do to help him. John will be leaving the hospital today to return home where he’ll be receiving hospice care.
Please pray for John and his family, placing them in God’s loving hands on this final part of what has been a long and often difficult journey. It appears that John’s entrance into his eternal home is at hand.

Dear John,
I deeply admire the way in which you have accepted and worked through this difficult personal journey. The example you have set will encourage many who are themselves facing serious illness. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Here in Mallorca we have prayed for you all. We are all in God’s hands and eventually “our time” will come to meet our Lord. He is waiting to receive you, as He is waiting to receive all of us. In this earthly existence many are the trials and pains. But, in the age to come, there will be only tears of joy.
Jesus loves you and He is right next to you.
May our heavenly Father fill you with peace and assurance.
In Christ,
Santiago and Elke

Dear John, Pat and Family, Linda and I join the many others who’s prayers are being lifted up for you now! I think of the times we have been taught by God through you in sermons or articles in the years of your labors for our Lord Jesus and for us all in the Church. First, thank you for your faithfulness to Jesus, and us. Your labors have had far reaching effect on many and only God knows that extent. May the peace and love of Christ Jesus flood your hearts and our prayer is for Jesus to minister to your needs as only he can! David and Linda Husmann
Forever in our hearts!
Hello Dear John,
Really, really sad to hear you latest condition. We too, like others, cannot find words to say except to let you know how much you have made a difference in our lives.
Like Paul, you have fought the good fight, run the good race and have kept your faith. We continue to pray for God’s blessing and miracle. Meanwhile, all we can think of is Christ’s words, “Well done, you Good and Faithful servant…”.
Our hearts and prayers are with you, and you family, always.
