  1. Here is the most recent update from Pedro:

I just came back from the hospital where I have received four of six planned chemotherapy sessions. Previously to the chemo I had a visit with my oncologist and he told me that the most recent blood tests show my cancer is in remission at a faster pace than expected! The tests also show that the pressure on my urethra caused by the prostate cancer is diminished considerably. As a result, the decision has been made to remove the vesical catheter. It will be a great relief!

I told to the Dr. again, after thanking him for his good work, that I will not get tired giving all the glory to God! He is our true Healer according to His loving, wise and sovereign will! I have no words to thank you enough for the outpouring of love, prayers and “Get Well” cards. When we pray, whether for ourselves or for others, we come closer to God and that is precisely what all of us need and what God wish for us to do. Perhaps that is one of the reasons why the apostle James was inspired by Jesus Christ in the Spirit to write, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).

My family and I pray, wishing that all of us are receiving and accepting God’s rich blessings that He has given us in Jesus Christ. Loving and fraternal hugs to you all!

  2. Dear Pedro and Brigida,

We are so thankful to hear about these encouraging developments. We will continue to keep knocking on “Heaven’s Door”. Our God is great and merciful!

    Love and hugs,
    Santiago and Elke

  6. Dear Pedro,
We are thrilled that you are out of the woods and that….yea though I walk through the valley (cancer valley is very dark) of the shadow (what makes it even darker is the possibility of death) of death I will fear no evil for THOU art with me thy rod and staff they COMFORT me. These words kept us going when Joyce was fighting stage 4 cancer 24 years ago, 26 blood clots later she is alive and well. Richenda sends her love and prayers, she has 4 children, Love and best wishes. Richard and Joyce Frankel
