We are pleased to announce that John Wesley Newsom, Lead Pastor of GCI congregations meeting in Queens and Manhattan (New York City), was married on September 2 to Vicky Berrios, a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist who also advocates for the disenfranchised. The wedding was held at St. John’s Lutheran Church where the Queens congregation meets. Former pastor Al Barr officiated. The newlyweds plan to move into a new home in Northern Queens.
The smiles say it all! Congratulations to the bride and groom. May the Lord bless you bountifully as you embark in this life together in the service of Christ within the sacred bond of marriage.
