We’re delighted to announce that GCI pastor Luciano Cozzi and his wife Suzanne have become grandparents!
The Cozzis’ daughter Elisabetta Iannelli and her husband Alan Iannelli gave birth on December 2 to Lucas Lee Iannelli.
Luciano wrote: “Our whole family stands in awe at the miracle of a new life. We are grateful that both mother and baby are well (daddy is still recovering!).”
GCI Church Multiplication Ministries (CMM) announced recently that it will be conducting Church-Next Training (CNT) in Glendora, California on January 24-25, 2014.
CNT is for church planters wanting to plant a new church, or for pastors and/or other leaders wanting to re-mission or re-plant their established church. James Henderson, GCI’s national director in the United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland, announced recently the launch of Because magazine, which is published online at http://www.because.uk.com/. The current issue is pictured below.
Anthony Mullins, director of GCI Generations Ministries, spoke recently about the GenMin Converge conferences coming up in 2014: “I have a strong sense, as does the entire GenMin team, that the next round of Converge conferences will be a significant bridge between GCnow and GCnext. We will invite participants to step up in helping build the next generation of GCI and step out into missional living in their communities.”
GenMin invites people of all ages and ministry roles to attend, including pastors, youth workers, camp volunteers, missionaries and other mission-minded people; and bring young, ministry-minded emerging leaders with you. It will be an inspiring time for all!

GCI pastor Ted and Lila Millhuff of Grace of God Fellowship in Tucson, Arizona are pleased to announce the birth of their third great grandchild. Addison Elise Millhuff arrived November 6 at 9 pounds and 24 inches. The happy parents are Thales Darwin III and Katelyn Millhuff.
Christian author and speaker Becky Tirabassi will be speaking at an event in Tyler, Texas on Saturday, January 18, 2014. In celebration of Advent, you will find online, beginning November 29, a series of Speaking of Life videos with Joseph Tkach. The series addresses the four traditional themes of Advent: Hope, Peace, Joy and Love. According to Dr. Tkach (pictured here on the new Speaking of Life set), the series will help viewers understand who God is, why he came to us and what he brings.
Dr. Tkach encourages congregations to use this series as a teaching tool during Advent (the first Sunday of Advent is December 1). A new video in the series will be posted each Friday in accordance with the schedule below.
