Roy Page retires, Craig Minke installed

Roy and Sheila Page

After over 47 years of faithful service as a GCI minister and church pastor, Roy Page retired at the end of January. Roy and his wife Sheila have faithfully served several congregations in Canada, most recently those in Vancouver and Prince George.

Craig and Debbie Minke

At the end of his final service as pastor in Vancouver, Roy called forward Craig and Debbie Minke to install Craig as the new pastor. Joining in the ceremony were GCI Canada director Gary Moore and Vancouver elders Bruce Edmonds and Mike Baker. Craig and Debbie are long-time dedicated and enthusiastic servants of the church in Vancouver.

  4. Dear Roy and Sheila, It was truly heart-warming to see the celebration of your long and faithful service in pastoral ministry on the GCI weekly update. I remember you both very fondly from those very early days in Brisbane and am happy to report that many of the original members from those days are still with us. My husband Eric and I serve on the pastoral team here along with Keith McLean and wife Bev and Bob and Kathy Regazzoli (pastor). You probably remember us all. Where have all those years gone? Congratulations…much love to you both and very best wishes for a wonderful retirement. Margaret Cohen (nee Clune)

  5. Best wishes, Roy and Sheila, for a very happy retirement. Well deserved and it couldn’t happen to a nicer couple! 🙂 Still have many happy memories of Bricket Wood days.
    Many Blessings!

  6. Congratulations Roy & Sheila. I fondly remember the good times we spent together at A.C. in Bricket Wood in 1961. We wish you God’s blessings and a very happy retirement.

  7. Roy I still remember you when I was 11 and you were not much older, late teens I guess in the early Bristol church at the Grand Hotel. It will also be hard to forget you and Sheila when you were pastor in Winnipeg…Those were good times. Sarah and I send our best wishes to you and Sheila in your ‘reclining’ years. With much love Wayne and Sarah.

  8. Roy and Sheila and Craig and Debbie–double congrats from us down here in the Lower 48–the Pages name is legendary in parts of our fellowship and we are not a bit surprised that Craig and Debbie were chosen to step forward and lead the Vancouver Canuck church. Blesings to all.
