Recent medical tests indicate the possibility that Pat has autoimmune encephalitis. Further tests are planned to determine how to treat her medically. Jack notes that he and Pat are going through a lot of stress and uncertainty, though they know God is with them. Please lift them up in prayer. Cards may be sent to:

  1. Dear Pat and Jack,

So sorry to hear about your ongoing struggles. The Father loves you, that I know. He will provide even in our lack. I pray that you will be touched by overwhelming grace. Think about the many brothers and sisters around the world that will be interceding for you in and through Jesus. That is a good place to be!

    With love,
    Santiago

    1. Thank you Santiago, we know our lord is with us and will continue to be throughout this journey we are on. Our prayers are a wonderful way of showing this love for one another. We send our love and thanks.

      1. Dear Jack and Pat,

Knowing that the saints are interceding for us to the Father in and through Christ has also been so many times a source of hope, encouragement, and comfort in my darkest hours. That same blessing will cover you. We are weak, but our God is mighty. We may not understand the trials that burden us, but we know that Jesus deeply cares about our sufferings. May His healing touch lift you up.

        In Him,
        Santiago

„We cannot rely on ourselves, for we have learned by bitter experience the folly of self-confidence. We are compelled to look to the Lord alone. Blessed is the wind that drives the ship into the harbor. Blessed is the distress that forces us to rest in our God.“

        – Charles H. Spurgeon.
