Wednesday, November 11, we lost our dear sister Kathy Houston (Pastor of Pine Bluff, AR). She had been battling cancer for several years. Last week, she took a turn for the worst and was admitted to the hospital. They immediately put her on hospice care. She had hoped to go home for hospice care but was not stable enough to make the move. It wasn’t but a few days later she passed away.
Please keep the Houston family and Pine Bluff congregation in your prayers.
Rest in peace and rise in glory, dear sister. I will greatly miss you. Condolences to Kathy’s family and congregation in their time of grief.
My sincere condolences to Kathy’s Children and Arkansas Family Members. Such a kind, warm and spiritual person. She is missed by her Pasadena, California friends. I did get to see the Arkansas Family Memorial on Zoom last Saturday. Always smiling and I am sure she transitioned with a smile on her face because that was Kathy. May she rest in Peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and congregation Kathy served. Her pain is over and she now looks forward to the Great Banquet that awaits her when the resurrection trumpet blast will shake the earth.
